How to Find Us
Our offices and laboratory are located in the CLA and the ML building which are right across from each other at the Zentrum Campus of ETH Zurich.
The office of Professor André Bardow (F19.1) and the office our administrative assistants (F17.2) are located in the CLA building.
Directions
You will require a ticket that is valid for zone 110 (city of Zurich). The ticket is valid for 1 hour for all trams and buses in the city center.
From the "Bahnhofquai/HB" stop
Tram no. 6 (towards the Zoo) as far as the "ETH/Universitätsspital" stop (3 stops). Journey time: approx. 6 minutes
From the "Bahnhofstrasse/HB" stop
Tram no. 10 (towards the Airport or Oerlikon station) as far as the "ETH/Universitätsspital" stop (3 stops). Journey time: approx. 6 minutes
From the "Bahnhofplatz/HB" stop
Tram Nr. 3 (towards Klusplatz) as far as the "Central" stop (1 stop), from "Central" by Polybahn (departs every three minutes) to the Polyterrasse. Journey time: approx. 8 minutes
Follow the signs "Bahn/Railway" to the ticket counters and/or ticket machines. You will find instructions in English on the ticket machines, or press the red key at the bottom left for "Zurich City".
You will require a ticket valid for 3 zones. The ticket is valid for 1 hour for all trains to Zurich as well as for trams and buses in the city.
If you are spending the whole day in Zurich, it is worth buying a day pass (valid for 24 hours). A 24h ticket costs only twice as much as a regular one-way ticket.
By tram
From the "Zurich Airport" tram stop
Tram no. 10 (towards Bahnhofplatz/HB) as far as the "ETH/Universitätsspital" stop. The tram runs every 7 to 15 minutes between 6 am and 11 pm.
Journey time: 30 minutes
By rail
If you wish to travel from the airport to the city centre (Central Station), you are recommended to use the S-Bahn or mainline services. The trains depart from the "Zurich Airport" station
Journey time: approx. 10 minutes
